MEET DR. SIMBIAT OLADIRAN-ADIGHIJE

Dr. Simbiat Oladiran-Adighije, PMHNP, PhD (Dr. Sim) has over 14 years of experience specializing in Adult ADHD, Anxiety disorders, Mood Disorders (Depressive disorders & Bipolar disorders), Perinatal psychiatry and comorbid mental disorders. Dr. Sim practices as a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in both New York and New Jersey. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University with her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing. She further received her MD and PhD degree in Public Health from The University of Science, Arts and Technology, Montserrat (Florida campus).

Dr. Sim believes in a personalized treatment plan for each patient that may include medication therapy and/or psychotherapy. She is an LGBTQ+ affirmative provider. Treatment approaches include Medication Management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Genetic Testing, Motivational Interviewing and other Psychotherapy treatments.

Dr. Sim is highly committed to evidence based practices and keeping up to date with new and emerging psychiatric treatment modalities. She does this by attending yearly continuing education/training in Psychopharmacology at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. She believes in the possibilities of reaching one’s highest potential and is highly committed to the well being of her patients physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
