MEET Sallie Jose

Sallie Jose began her career as a psychiatric nurse and later pursued her passion for psychiatry, becoming a certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. She finished her Master’s degree at Walden University and graduated with honors. She has extensive experience in the field, having worked at a county hospital in New Jersey for nearly eight years and completed a six-month externship in psychiatry at the Veterans Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Sallie is licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey and specializes in treating various psychiatric disorders, including major depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and certain psychotic disorders.
Her treatment approach includes collaboration, individualized care, and evidence-based strategies. She believes that mental illness requires significant attention, as a healthy mind contributes to a healthy body. Sallie’s primary goal in treating mental illness is to help patients fully recover and become functional members of their communities.
